Marketing Facebook is becoming more difficult these days with the amount of competition that Facebook has. There are literally millions of people who are on Facebook and you need to get your name and your website in front of them in order to make any money at all. You can do this by getting involved in groups that have something to do with your niche. For example, if you are a real estate agent in Cincinnati and want people in this group to have access to information about a deal they just closed, you could go in and set up an account for the group. People who are interested in buying a home will see your profile and hopefully you’ll attract them to your website.
If you don’t like groups, there are other ways to market Facebook. One strategy is to post on your own wall the latest news articles that you’ve discovered. If there are a lot of people who are posting about local news, people are going to notice your profile. You can also find a few other realtors in the area and contact them to ask if you can post a link to your website in their walls. If a few of them say yes, then that’s a pretty good sign that they’re worth talking to.
Last but not least, try and get involved in groups and forums that are related to your niche. It’s always easier to sell products and services to new people than it is to sell to people who have been there for a while. You can always search the forum for keywords that will bring people to your website, as long as those keywords are used sparingly. If you start spamming the forum with your website links, you’ll probably scare off some of the more helpful members. There are also several tools that you can use to see which kinds of ads are working for your niche.
